The LORD replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” Psalm 12:5
Sometimes we feel hopeless. We anxiously look for someone that could aid us from our desperate situation. However, the more we expect people around us to help us, the more disappointed we become because often times, they don't fully meet the needs you have at the moment.
If we are in this kind of this condition, friend, you are in the wrong direction. You are trying to walk on a fragile bridge.
But, let me tell you this. There is still hope. God is there to rescue you. The Lord says He will RISE UP to rescue those who are in need. But that is not an unrequited feeling. Because God always waits for our response to Him. This doesn't make the Lord more active and we become dormant.
So, we wonder why there's a lot of needy people, yet it seems like God is just ignoring them. That's a very big NO. God desires our longing for Him. We are actually the ones who ignore Him.
Therefore, when you are in a difficult time, turn to God and ask for His help. And when He answers you, go back and thank Him. God never overlook the needs of those whose hearts are wanting Him. It's a wonderful thought to think about that as we stay with God, He is more than faithful to stay with us until the end of time.
