I've lost my way-
I cannot see in the day-
In the middle of despair and hopelessness,
I try to recall my old memories-
In my small and narrow space,
I spread my arms and dance
My body knows no boundaries-
I move with overflowing bliss.
With my young and old friends,
I played the old song of offering-
Right tone and notes, not minding-
We just wanted to heartfully sing.
What distance can keep me from going?
Sweat from my skin continually flowing
Still, here I am coming-
Gladly running, leaping, and hopping.
While everyone loudly chatting on the bus,
By the window, silently shouting
Reading thoroughly your love letters
Every word makes a joyous pounding.
I recall, no advance gadgets before
Yet, passionately I explore-
Talking to you from midnight 'til dawn-
Longing to have you always at home.
I miss you-
I long for you-
I seek you-
I want you-
I'm tired-
Please bring me home-
Find me-
My first love...

House Upon the Rock

At a first glance, you'd think how incredible this house is. It was built on a rock in the middle of a river. This house has gone through a lot of testings but it stands still in different seasons.
This reminds me of the story I read in Matthew 7:24-27. Isn't it amazing?

Fairness
Fairness can vary on each person's point-of-view. One may think that favoring someone poor more than the others is unfair while others think differently. But I realize that fairness is not something we truly know about or something we can fully grasp with our confined understanding. Our pastor once said that if God is infinite, therefore knowing Him is equally infinite. Therefore, I can never question God or doubt his ways.
Yet, only God knows what our needs really are. So, God is always fair when it comes to dealing with our deficiencies. In fact, I should not compare my situation to others nor their circumstance to mine. Others may disagree with this argument but I think that if our perspective is only barred to chasing after our own demands, we would always fight and complain about the life we have now.
Hence, enjoy life! Be happy with what the little things you have and be grateful in advance with the wishes you desire. And when it is not granted, learn to be still thankful for it because God has provided us something better we don't even know of.

My Prayer
Lord, draw people near you and to me. For I am weak, fragile, and imperfect. Let them see your Glory and not my impure being.

Simplicity
Simplicity is about acceptance of the things you can only have, you have, and getting something without giving up your humanity.

YOU ARE
You are beautiful in your own way.
Do not compare yourself with others
because you will never be satisfied
with how you judge yourself.

GREATEST INSPIRATION
Why do you admire someone?
We usually look up to people who have good qualities and have done good deeds. Sometimes, these are the people whom we consider as heroes. And when face difficult times, we tend to recall how these people (we admire) overcame struggles and we find their testimonies as reliable source of encouragement and strength.
If that's the case, why don't we try to look at the story of Jesus in the bible who is a perfect example of humanity?
- He let himself be insulted so that you may know that true honor can never be found here on earth but in Him alone.
- He let himself be homeless so that you may know that your true home and refuge is Him.
- He let himself be beaten so that you may know there's someone who shares your pain.
- He let himself be betrayed so that you may know that He is the only one you can trust.
- He let himself starve so that you may know that life is not about what we take but by following what God wants for us.
- He let himself undergo such terrible situations so that you may realize that you are not alone and he does care for you and me.
Indeed, He is someone who is worthy to look up to and be admired. He is a trustworthy friend whom we can lean our shoulders on.

GROWING

When we plant a seed in the soil, do we expect it to stay as it is? No, we don't. We are expectant for it to grow and will someday bear fruit.
No plant will ever grow without undergoing seasons. It may be so cold at night and so hot in the day. Sometimes, the weather is just fine. Sometimes, it rains a lot. But no matter what the condition the plant is in, it never chooses its own right climate for itself and place where it can be nurtured. They come naturally and it is endured by the plant as part of the growing process.
We can see here that God places us in a place where it is best for us to grow and mature. We may undergo hardships and trials in life. But it is all part of the growing process we have to take part in. we can never experience growth weather these changes. God makes us stronger, intelligent, creative, mature, and humble through the seasons.
Therefore, whatever the season is, let us just trust God who cares and loves us so much, (1 Peter 5:7) Let us grow in maturity of knowing Christ in our lives.

Holy Spirit as the Living Proof
![]() |
| But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. -Galatians 5:22-23 |
Christians have the Holy Spirit in them. So, when there's something bad going on, He is a guide that
ETERNAL MOTIVATION and INSPIRATION. (2 Timothy 3:16)
Though Jesus went up to be with God the Father in Heaven, He left with us His Holy Spirit and that proves His words in Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." God is indeed faithful to His words. He is our Living Hope.

TRUE MATURITY

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5
Who wants to be mature? Everyone does I think. No one wants to stay the same forever. We, in nature, want to see some development in ourselves.
Because of that, we tend to work so hard to improve, work out our weaknesses. We make every effort to practice and see the good result of it. We train ourselves to excel in intellectual, physical, emotional, and mental aspect. We want to be independent. We desire increase and gain something to grow.
However, the question is, "Is this the kind of maturity God is looking for?"
Yes, we can become mature in those aspects mentioned above but Jesus made us realize that true maturity is in Him alone. God wants spiritual maturity.
As we get to know Christ and draw closer to Him, we see more of Him and look away of ourselves. The more we know Christ, the lesser we become self-centered.
Therefore, in the world's point-of-view, we are mature when we increase and become independent. But in christianity point-of-view, the more we gain knowledge of Christ, the lesser we become independent of ourselves. That's how we become mature. So maturity is realizing your need of Jesus in your life and yearning to be more dependent of Him. For apart from Him, we can do nothing.

A Rightful Desire
"You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence
and the pleasures of living with you forever."
Psalm 16:11
"Take delight in the LORD,
and he will give you your heart’s desires."
Psalm 37:4
_________________________________________________________________________________
What kind of desire wants from us?
David says that the Lord will give us what we desire. Really? Anything? Will God give me a car if I want to?
If that's how we understand it, then we are getting away from the main point.
The truth is... God wants us to desire for Him. He wants our longing to live with him forever. And as we do that, there's no reason for God not to grant that kind of yearning.
Others say it's boring to be a Christian. No. They are wrong. It says that there's joy in His presence. We can have true joy as we open our hearts to Him.
Therefore, a desire for God is something that is fully qualified to be granted.
